CAN you beleive that it is July already!! Tax time!! In this issue courtesy of Sudesh Aggarwal there are various tax information editorials that ill be of assistance to individuals, business owners and property owners.

Last month I dropped in on a few of you and I must thank you for the warm welcome and positive feedback. I will be out on the road this month again and hope to see as many of you as possible.

Unfortunately I always seem to touch on the topic of deadlines. To ensure that the paper goes on time it is necessary that they are strictly adhered too. I do my best to accommodate, however, sometimes it is not possible to assist.
It is fantastic to see that various communities are submitting editorials and also their upcoming information. This is a service that we provide for free.

It is our goal at Brisbane Indian Times to provide the community a tool in which to inform readers of their activities and services. This information is important to our readers, especially new migrants who are seeking to become part of an association or are in need of assistance.

With that in mind, I encourage all of you to keep informing us of your activities/services etc. along with any changes in your contact details.

Readers are also encouraged to send in photos for the who, what, when, where section of the newspaper. There is no cost involved, all I require is a high resolution photo sent as a jpg and your caption.

The August issue is our Ramadan and Raksha Bandhan issue, we will be running a special feature where all are invited to publish greetings. A special rate will apply for the featured section.

In Signing off I wish you all a safe and happy month and look forward to hearing from you.
